today, i finally let go of being my lazy-polite self, and screamed at my sister. we were fighting earlier this morning: i even forget what it was about. My sister came up while i was practicing my (add instrument of your imagination here), and she decided to watch me. i've always hated that, bcause all she does is correct me and end up in a big fight. Every. Time. I allow her to be there with a promise of 'no critiquing'. I accidentally hit part of my instrument on the ceiling fan (don't ask). okay, nothing happened, but we are sharing the instrument, even tho it is technically hers. she starts gong on about how she should now always watch me when i touch the instrument, because things like that happen. she goes even further, saying how she should have never trusted me with it, or anything.
pause. i have been trying to be the bigger person by this point, trying mot to say anything, but I can't hold it in.
play. i stormed downstairs and answered the phone. after, i called up to my sister, saying to call my mother back. i assumed she was ignoring me. so i got permission from my mother to go to the library, and i did. i walked right out the door, and sat down at the computer. i knew my ass would be grass, but I did it. i made my point. i now know that i don't NEED my sister to accompany me everywhere (mom, that's for u) and i am extremely proud of myself... for gainig what will probably be two weeks-worth of grounding. ugh.
